CITYARTS CLASSES

Providence CityArts school and community workshops connect art with ideas that are relevant to youth, ages 8-14. All classes are free but registration is required. We offer sessions during the school year, summer, and vacation time.

After school, vacation and summer programs take place at our Broad Street facility at 891 Broad Street, which is housed at Highlander Charter School and it is equipped with:

  • Computerized kilns and pottery wheels

  • 3D printer/MakerBot

  • Media Lab with ten mac computers

  • Dance studio

  • Paint, drawing and sculpture studios

School-based programs take place through the Providence After School Alliance and in collaboration with teachers at three public schools:

  • Roger Williams Middle School

  • Del Sesto Middle School

  • Highlander Charter School
